Impulse handbook for intergenerational learning
The manual provides learners with a broader understanding of the issues concerning environmental sustainability and the change we need to adopt in terms of mindset to enable each of us to change our daily actions and behaviours to make our community, environment and planet more sustainable.
The manual contains training materials (quizzes, tests, etc.) divided into 6 units according to the 6 R’s of sustainability: rethink, reject, reduce, reuse, repair, recycle.
Recommendations and guidelines for forward-looking community learning centres
The document contains a number of recommendations for adult learning centres (not only training institutions, but also NGOs, libraries, museums, etc.) that are useful in incorporating sustainability principles in all areas of their activities: organisation and management, educational programs, learning and working environment, and networking efforts.
The Recommendations also contain examples of good practices in Latvia, Croatia, Ireland, Italy and Germany and show how various actors (adult learning centres, NGOs, municipalities, etc.) organise different activities to promote sustainability among citizens of all ages.
Finally, you will also find in the document a “portfolio” for each country mentioned above, which provides summary information on how the topic of sustainability is dealt with by the relevant national legislation.

The e-learning platform for intergenerational learning groups
The platform will provide trainers and adult learners with information, tools and resources to support the delivery and management of education by introducing a methodology that assesses the learning of “green” skills.
The intergenerational learning activities that will be assessed relate to environmental sustainability and the ways in which we make our daily lives more sustainable, as extensively explained within the Handbook (Resource 1) and Recommendations (Resource 2).
